Superb facsimile of an illustrated lithograph announcing "La Grande Fête Aérostatique du Dimanche 19 septembre 1886, au carré de Verdure, du Jardin des Tuileries (Paris). Around the beautiful illustration, the equatorial silk balloon "La Dynamiteuse", owned by the Société Saint-Felix, a copious program is announced: a military balloon built, inflated, mounted and driven by Eugène Godard, the doyen of Aeronauts, and the ascent of the Dynamiteuse des Airs, after its 30-minute inflation (80 m circumference, 5000m cube) starting at 5 a.m. Tickets cost 2 and 1f, but chairs can be purchased for 10c.
