Original lithographed poster: "Extremely rare image for several reasons (debut of the nocturnes, visit of a major Milanese club (due to confusion on the part of the organizer), and presence of the famous historic "Grenoli" attacking trio Gren-Nordhal-Liedholm): "URBSFA, Football, Saturday, April 10, 1954, 8 p.m., E.Versé stadium (Parc d'Anderlecht), RSC ANDERLECHT-FC MILANO, great international match by night; 50% discount for subscribers...". Linsmô lithograph. In the luminous brush of a spotlight, the red goalkeeper, green cap, dives..." The Emile Versé stadium is full (35,000 spectators) for this second night in the great history of Belgian football; it ends in a fine draw for the home team (2-2) against the terrible Italian team, with its flamboyant attack. On March 6, Anderlecht dominated Racing-Club de Buenos-Airess (3-2) for the lighting's baptism. Small damp stains lower left corner. 73X54.5. Small detail: the directors of the great Belgian club sometimes mistook the identity of the visiting club, carried away by passion. The fact remains that it was a success, and the lighting paid for itself.
