ULYSSE NARDIN par HY MOSER and Co First World War lot Signal Corps" poilu's watch in metal with mechanical movement - Round case, smooth bezel, articulated wire handles, fluted crown, officer's caseback. - White enamel dial, black painted minute track, luminescent painted Arabic numerals, "Cathedral" hands. A silver protection grill (does not appear to fit the watch) and a case signed Eng. Dept. USA 1913 and N°5877 as a compass. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: hand-wound mechanical. Case signed HY Moser & co. Movement numbered: 17420 Watch diameter: 33 mm Condition report: Good general condition, hands missing, wear scratches and patina on case, watch not working at time of appraisal, no guarantee of operation over time, a service recommended.
