SECOND EMPIRE / Maison PLATTET (specialists in varnished leather for shoemaking, saddlery and belts, manufacturers of molded leather and felt items, travel bottles, varnished hunting items, popular for their travel cans or bottles) / Blackened wooden frame (36 x 41 cm, depth 4 cm) containing their industrial awards, framed by Maison Hadin in Paris (maker of bronzes and medals), who mounted the 3 medals received (diameter 6 cm), each in duplicate, enabling presentation of the obverse and reverse: 1844 "Exposition des Produits de l'Industrie" (in the effigy of King Louis-Philippe, engraved by Depaulis) - 1849 "Exposition Nationale des Produits de l'Industrie agricole et manufacturée" (in the effigy of the Republic, engraved by Bovy) - 1855 "Exposition Universelle Agriculture Industrie" (in the effigy of Emperor Napoleon III, engraved by Albert Barre) - In the center, the Empire coat of arms in gilded bronze (8 x 10 cm).
