This copy is one of only a handful produced by name, apart from the edition of 2,000 numbered copies, This copy is on Ingres Arches MBM (one of the finest paper qualities available) - This copy comprises 391 loose leaves in a full vellum hardback cover (the laces inserted in the covers to keep the cover closed no longer exist, 360 plates (printed on the recto only) paginated in Roman numerals, with facsimile letters pasted on some plates, and a few color illustrations - drawings, headbands and lamp-ends by Bernard Naudin - This precious copy was intended for Jeanne PROVOST, actress with the Comédie Française.
