DINKY TOYS NOVELTIES" TRIANGULAR STORE DISPLAY
Very rare store display topped by an inverted triangle, in sheet metal. Straw yellow and red face, gray back, white steel wire banding. Features the words "Dinky-Toys, Meccano, Nouveautés" in red block letters. This piece, offered by Meccano to its retailers from 1960 onwards, took over from the cardboard displays produced since 1954. Alongside the large illuminated display that appeared in 1959, it was specifically designed to showcase the brand's latest novelties. Dimensions: 28 x 14 x 27 cm. Very good near-new condition, with a few marks on the white banding. The 4 rubber tips are present and in good condition.
