Before the Notaries of the Prévôté and Office of CONFLANS-EN-JARNISY (54), now at the Château de LA GRANGE (57), appeared Messire Nicolas de BEAUCLAIN Chevalier Seigneur de Colmey, La Grange, Sous-Lieutenant des Chevau-Légers de la Garde de Son Altesse Royale, Colonel de Cavalerie residing at the said LA GRANGE, who having considered the terms, clauses and conditions of the Donation he had previously made to Messire Jacques Philippe de CHAMISSOT Chevalier Capitaine Cuirassier pour le Service de Sa Majesté Impériale au Régiment de Mr de MARTIGNY, his nephew and son of his own sister in his absence by deed dated December 4, 1716... "he cancelled the deed and drew up a new one, giving his nephew "La Terre et Seigneurie de LA GRANGE, Le Châtelain, consistant en haute et basse justice, maisons, prés, terre, bois, moulins... et la Seigneurie de VILLE-SUR-YON et de VILLE-AUX-PRÉS. " Done at CONFLANS (54) on April 19, 1721. This "copy of the Donation was delivered to Monsieur de BONCOURT, in 1721." (The town of BONCOURT is in Meurthe-et-Moselle).
