Signed document headed with his name and titles: Armand Désiré du PLESSIS-RICHELIEU, Duc D'AIGUILLON (1761-1800), Pair de France, noble Genoese, Comte d'Agenois et Condomois... Lieutenant General of the Province of Brittany and the County of Nantois, Colonel of the Cavalry Regiment of Royal Poland. Certificate of military service signed "Le Duc D'AIGUILLON", given at AIGUILLON (Château d'Aiguillon in Lot-et-Garonne), April 7, 1789. 1 engraved page filled in ink (44 x 28.5 cm). Vignette and wax seal with his coat of arms, consolidated folds: Certifies that Charles Henry de LENFERNAT, Chevalier d'Averolles entered the Compagnie des Chevaux légers de la garde Ordinaire du Roy, as a Surnuméraire on January 4, 1774, that he attended the Military School of the aforementioned Company, his exercises during the prescribed time and the service close to the person of the King, with exactitude... and that he remained attached to the Company until the Reform of 1787.
