Richard GUINO (1890-1973) Woman walking with a basket of flowers, circa 1920. Terracotta signed on the terrace. Fingerprint of the artist's thumb under the base, marked N° 3. H : 26 cm. A similar but enamelled example is published in the catalog of the exhibition Guino - Renoir : la couleur de la sculpture, Perpignan, Musée Hyacinthe Rigaud, June 24 - November 5, 2023, p. 173, no. 114 (numbered 5). The notice states that this piece pre-dates 1924. Our copy is listed by Madame Adélaïde Paul-Dubois-Taine, in charge of drawing up the artist's catalog raisonné.
