This new Adidas garnet jersey is a collector's item belonging to the history of French soccer, as it is linked to the painful episode linked to the non-accession of Club Ariégeois de Luzenac (Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées) to Ligue 2 in 2014. The club's rise to the top, which was snatched from Occitanie, could not have been fairer or more deserved, and was therefore supported by an entire region, led by legendary goalkeeper and world champion Fabien Barthez (87 caps, 606 matches at the highest level).
