Olympic Games/ Summer, 1920, Antwerp/ Theunis. Important participant's medal for these Games of the Renaissance and the first Olympic oath. In bronze, round (diam: 6), with the victorious chariot with its two horses on the obverse, and the words "VII Olympiad, Antwerp, MCMXX" and the crowned athlete on the reverse. Signed by Pierre Theunis, only 6,000 copies of this beautifully patinated piece were ever printed, and many have been lost.
