Exceptional set of 10 pieces (plus two) on great players of the Roaring Twenties, and their atmosphere: a) Adolphe Jauréguy (1898-1977, 31 caps, 2 Brennus), his extremely rare book of "Souvenirs" by Kra, illustrations by Thoum'Azo, 108 pages (19x12) (7th edition). "Too short" said Jean de Lascoumettes in his review (attached). Here, Adolphe plunges us into the heart of the Ovalie of the Roaring Twenties, of which he was a modest and marvelous player. Here we discover 100 nuggets on Racing, Joinville, Tarbes, Toulouse, and of course the famous Jeux Interalliés... As a bonus, the first Schnock in history, TBE. With a photo of the former in a match in 1928, when he was wearing the colors of SF 18x13); b) five original caricatures by Flo or Mesnier (Dr. Loubatié, Piquiral, Schnock).Loubatié, Piquiral, Haget, Larrieu, Strolh); c) two press photos from the 1920s, an English match, and the Lézignan team (finalists in the 1929 champt), posing on 29/12/1929 around Sébedio at the Parc des Princes (13x18); d) the very rare St Raphael card from the 1924 Olympics:"football-rugby, if you're tired, instead of invoking all the saints of Paradise, ask for St Raphael-Quinquina". Two autographs on cardboard from Jo Maso and François Sangali are enclosed.
