Violin bow, FETIQUE school, bearing an apocryphal mark "A.VIGNERON A PARIS" on the stick, above the frog. Octagonal stick in very fine red-brown pernambuco wood, 72.8 cm long. Ebony frog, silver-mounted, with mother-of-pearl rings and graining, rounded corners, 2 heels mounted straight and secured with 1 pin in the small one and 2 in the large one, and slide secured with 2 pins. Solid silver knob, double groove, 1 pin. A fine specimen from this great French school in good condition, made circa 1920-30. A Certificate of Authenticity from the bow maker Jean François RAFFIN will be issued with the bow and case. Ebony frog, silver mounted, with mother-of-pearl rings and grains, rounded loop on the corners, 2 heels mounted straight fixed by 1 pin in the small one and 2 in the large one and slide fixed with 2 pins. Solid silver knob, double groove, 1 pin. Beautiful specimen of this great French school in good condition and made circa 1920-30. A Certificate of Authenticity from the bow maker Jean François RAFFIN will be delivered with the bow and its case.
