OSTENDE 1781 (then Austrian Netherlands) / Licensing letters on parchment (32 x 21.5 cm), partly printed with engraved vignette and initials, signed by the burgomaster Jan de Caigny on November 29, 1781 in favor of the merchant Joannes Forcade Fils Aîné, dry seal under paper - On the back, legalizations of Caigny's signature by the British Consul John Peters and the French Consul Garnier with their dry seals under paper.
