Osman BEY (Frédéric Millingen dit, born 1836, the son of an English doctor living in Turkey, he was an adventurer and above all a pamphleteer, who developed what we now call all kinds of "conspiracy theories", notably about the Jews, his main target; he disappeared in 1901 without a trace) / Amazing autograph letter signed on Calman Lévy Editeurs letterhead, 2 p in-8: he gives his own conditions for the publication of his manuscript entitled "La Prostitution" and says he is awaiting Calmann-Lévy's decision; an apostille in pencil at the top of the letter states: "Rendu le manuscrit à M. Osman Bey on May 29, 1879".
