"Arrêt du Conseil du Roi (Louis XVI), qui autorise l'ouverture du CANAL ROYAL DE PARIS, à l'effet de joindre les Rivières d'OURCQ de la MARNE, prise à LISI (LISY-SUR-OURCQ, Seine et Marne), qui viendra se partager proche PARIS, between La Chapelle La Villette, to flow into the Seine at the Bastion de L'ARSENAL on one side, and to join the river at its junction with the OISE at CONFLANS-SAINTE-HONORINE (Yvelines) on the other; orders that Plans, Profiles, Estimated Details of the said undertaking shall be drawn up beforehand, stakes shall be planted, Levels shall be made, Excavations and other operations shall be carried out on all open or enclosed land, in the alignment of the said Canal; prohibits any disturbance or impediment to the said operations."
