The OSSUN forest was the property of the Lords of this commune, except for the rights of use exercised by the inhabitants of OSSUN and those of ADÉ, a neighboring commune. A transaction dating back to February 12, 1452, granted the inhabitants of ADÉ the right to graze their cattle in part of the forest... In 1717, part of the forest was burnt down..."(extract).
