SANTON DE PROVENCE - Simone JOUGLAS (1907-2001) / Authentic vintage Provencal santon from the 80s and 90s, created by Master Santonnière Simone Jouglas of Marseille, Premier Ouvrier de France, in terracotta, measuring 30 cm, is dressed in genuine Provençal fabrics, made with attention to detail in both facial expression and the finishing of accessories, and signed on the base (Simone Jouglas was the first to create the dressed santon in 1944) - this one represents the vagabond.
