SANTON DE PROVENCE - Simone JOUGLAS (1907-2001) and Jean EDOUARD / Authentic Provencal santon, the result of a collaboration between santon-maker Simone Jouglas and santon-maker Jean Edouard, vintage from the 1970s, in terracotta, measuring 30 cm, is dressed in genuine Provencal fabrics, and has been crafted with great attention to detail, both in the facial expressions and in the finish of the accessories. It bears the double signature of Simone Douglas and Jean Edouard on the base, and represents the glazier.
