Monseigneur Alfred BAUDRILLART (1859-1942, cardinal, member of the Académie Française) / Silver-plated metal box (3 x 9.5 x 9.5 cm) with lid set with a medallion featuring the Virgin, signed by goldsmith Emile DROPSY (1848-1923), the interior is quilted with velvet fabric - Inside has been preserved an autograph message signed by Cardinal Baudrillart justifying the provenance as an ex-dono: "Petit coffret ayant appartenu pendant de longues années au Cardinal Baudrillart" (header les Armes du Cardinal)
