CLOSE HOUSE "LE SPHINX" / Photographic report from the Late 40s by G. HIMLER (his stamp on the back of the photos has been masked by a label from the "World Press Foto" agency in Amsterdam) showing the life of student couples at the Sphinx (the buildings of this famous Montparnasse brothel were in fact requisitioned after the war to house convalescent student couples from the Fondation de France): 5 vintage silver prints (18 x 24 cm) with a caption printed in Dutch on the back.
