BOOKSTORE (1) "GREAT BOOK OF TIN TOYS", David Pressland, Golden Age Editions. 1995. Reference work on tin toys from the late 19th century to the 1950s. All the major manufacturers of Japanese boats, planes, cars, motorcycles, trains, figurines and robots are represented, with rich full-color illustrations. Issued in a limited edition of 2,000 copies nearly 30 years ago, now out of print, the present work bears no. 0846, with a dedication by the author on the title page. It is presented in a slipcase protecting a hardcover enhanced by a lithographed metal illustration. 336 pages, 634 color illustrations. Format 270 x 285 mm. Near mint condition. Outstanding!
