PW* - Germany (1) "GROCK THE CLOWN Mechanical toy in lithographed sheet metal, wood and metal. Represents the famous Swiss clown (1880-1959), a musical august, reproduced here as a xylophone player. Operated by activating a push lever concealed behind the face with the thumb, while a hook accommodates the index finger, the combined maneuver moves the figure along the rail... and the melody begins on the 7 metal blades! *The initials "PW" are stamped on the mechanism.
