G. RENAULT & BON DUFOUR - France (1) RARE IN THIS CONDITION JEU DE MASSACRE (1920) Between 1900 and 1930, this company, based in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, produced small figures (average height 11 cm), mainly soldiers, in agglomerated scirure covered with varnished and colored plaster. This set was found almost intact in its rather rudimentary original "packaging": a cylindrical cardboard support, to which 6 little soldiers and the cardboard/leather ball used to "unstick" them are tied. Chipping on the headdress of one of the figures.
