BLUMER & SCHÜLER -Germany (1) JUMBO" MECHANICAL ELEPHANT Lithographed sheet metal toy produced in Germany in the 1930s. Quite unusual when complete with mahout and parasol. Powered by a clockwork mechanism concealed inside, the elephant waddles along at the speed of an... elephant! The mechanism is particularly realistic and works very well. Beautiful red and yellow lithograph on a dark blue background. Length 11 cm. Tail probably not original. Includes a Schuco key. No box. Condition: B/-
