HTC HISHIMO - Japan (1) LITTLE CURRENT ANIMAL SEE-SAW This mechanical game in lithographed sheet metal, depicting an elephant and a horse drumming on a rocking platform, is said to have a satirical significance. The game, made in Japan in the 1950s, is said to refer to the American presidential campaign of the late 19th century, which (already) pitted Republicans against Democrats. Be that as it may, this rather imposing piece (18 cm long) is richly decorated and is operated by the key attached to the toy.
