MASUDAYA - Japan (1) "HIGH WAY PATROL LITTLE RUNNING Imposing mechanical toy in lithographed sheet metal, circa 1955. It depicts a uniformed highway policeman bent over the handlebars of his Indian (after the initials on the tank). According to the manufacturer, the biker is able to straddle his machine in several positions, his right leg lifting backwards in the maneuver. The start/stop lever (inoperative) is located on the rear license plate. Mobile front axle, independent of the handlebars, which are attached to the rider's arms. Rubber tire mounted on the front wheel, combined with 2 small wheels, also rubberized, to ensure stability. Electric front headlight (red). The lithography, in shades of white, red and blue, features the engine and spoked rims. Length: 29.5 cm; Height: 19 cm. Very near-new condition, mechanism to be revised.
