LARGE LITHOGRAPHED SHEET METAL MOTORCYCLE
Pre-war mechanical toy, circa 1936. Length: 29.5 cm. A leather-helmeted biker rides a machine that could be a Terrot. In addition to the 2 large sheet-metal wheels marked J-M-L France, 2 small metal wheels attached to a central plate ensure the machine's stability. The rider's arms are attached to the handlebars. Luggage rack and headlight (very rudimentary) are attached and stapled, as are the handlebars and license plate on the front fender. Movable front axle (adjusted by a small toothed piece). Beautiful litho in mustard and blue tones. The mechanism and key are mounted on the left-hand side, behind a metal housing. It operates the rear wheel and is still in working order. Complete, still in good condition, with a few traces of oxidation in places.
