CAR-BUILDING SET
PULLMAN" LIMOUSINE
Vintage set, produced from 1930 to 1939. Contains 1 very neatly assembled touring model. Large limousine with very powerful bolted metal mechanism. Highly detailed reproduction of the chassis, leaf springs, transmission shaft that actually turns and drives the rear wheels, axle, steered front wheels, headlights, opening driver's door, handles on all 4 doors... Painted in 2 shades of cream/green, with black trim, burgundy seats and a black steering wheel (flanked by a gearshift lever serving as an on/off switch), this "Pullman" could be a HORCH, the German ancestor of AUDI. It is equipped with 5 wheels (spare wheels at rear) with Märklin-engraved rubber tires (slightly cracked at front left). Mechanics working, key present. Dimensions: 38 x 13 x 13 cm. Superb condition. Cardboard box 46 x 32 cm, covered with purplish marbled paper, inner wedge, ref. 1104 P on edge. Attractive color label depicting a young boy and showing the collection of 4 models to assemble. Small repairs to corners, using matching cardboard.
