Louis IV de BOURBON-CONDÉ (Versailles 1692 - Chantilly 1740) - Lot 120
Louis IV de BOURBON-CONDÉ (Versailles 1692 - Chantilly 1740) 7th Prince de Condé (1710), was Duc de BOURBON, Duc d'Enghien, and Duc de Guise, Peer of France, Head of the Regency Council (1715), Principal Minister of Louis XV (1723-1726) - Autograph letter signed "Le Comte de BOURBON" in BOURBON (Château de Bourbon-l'Archambault 03) on October 9, 1722. 4 pages in-8°: "... I had the honor of writing to you that you were absolutely the master of deciding the time of this Officer's imprisonment, because I had told Mr Perrin ... after having seen how much the King and his Royal Highness judged him criminal, I am sorry not to have explained this enough,... It seems to me that it is right that the intention of the King and of Mr LEBLANC should be carried out in its entirety, and I do not believe for my part that I can do anything other than convince this minister of the abandonment I have the honor of making to you of all my interests...".
