Autograph letter signed "MILCENT", Angers April 8, 1793, Year 2, to his friend BOUCHET: "Mon Cher BOUCHET, Vous connaissez la malheureuse disgrâce de mon Beau-père; En vérité il est bien innocent, et le fait est démontré aujourd'hui. He is presenting a petition to the Département, which will first be sent to the Municipality for its opinion. It is in the hands of Citizen Dieusie; I beg you to speak to him about it and press for its execution. My father-in-law is ill and in such need of help; I won't elaborate any further, I know your heart and your friendship for me, your friend Milcent."
