If you could be amused by reading VOLTAIRE's other works, you may dispose of them as well as the rest of my small Library. It will be my great pleasure, citoyen, to grant you or your friends entry to the Conseil des Anciens whenever you wish, but it is not customary to issue tickets. When you arrive at the Salle des Petitionnaires, all you have to do is ask for me by one of the Council's ushers, and I'll have you immediately placed in one of the tribunes des Représentants du peuple; unless your friends want to come here with me, in which case I'll accompany them and place them in the Council myself. I observe that the latter option seems to me more suitable, because they would attend the entrance of the Representatives, which we find quite interesting by the new order that has just been adopted."
