SARTHE. PARIS. 1802. VETERANS' CAMP. "The Minister of WAR to the Prefect of the Department." Paris 8 Vendémiaire An 11 (30 Sept. 1802). "The Government, desiring to give a testimony of National Recognition, to the Brave Militaries maimed, or seriously wounded in the War of Liberty, has resolved to form five Veterans Camps, each of four hundred men, in the Departments of the Po, Marengo, Stura, Dora, Sezia and Tanaro, which compose the 27th Military Division. And 5 other Camps, each with 300 Veterans, in the 4 united Departments of Mont-Tonnerre, Rhin et Moselle, Sarre and Roër ..." signed Marshal Alex. BERTHIER. followed by the Arrêté de M.
