GERMANY CAMPAIGN 1813. Arrêté D'ALBERG Préfet du Département du WESER, Chambellan de l'EMPEREUR, fait à la Préfecture de BRÊME (Allemagne) le 19 août 1813, sur la réquisition des Chevaux. "In view of his reports to His Highness the Prince of Eckmühl (D'AVOUT) of August 10th and 11th concerning the impossibility of finding the required number of horses in the Department, as ascertained by an initial review of all the horses listed in the statistical statements... Adopts the following. Art.1) The Communes of the Département which, after the general review of horses which is currently taking place, have not completed the quota... will be required to provide the value in cash...".
