Philip Wilson, volume I, n°211 The ornamental style is Italian, and the drawing was probably executed by a French artist in the entourage of Nicolas Poussin. The drawing can be compared with another sheet from the Pcetti collection, dated circa 1620, whose motif has been compared with the decoration of the Quirinal Palace in Rome by Giovanni Lanfranco (opus quoted above, p.211).
