Large in-12 half-brown morocco with corners, spine ribbed with gilt fillets and small bands of chocolate morocco, gilt head, untrimmed, covers included (qq. slight traces of rubbing and small stains, barbs a little faded). French first edition of this science-fiction novel, in which the author describes a world war between the United States and England in 1908. 1/7 copies on Hollande (no. 4), the only large paper, at full margins.
