Albrecht DÜRER (1471-1526), after Portrait of the Young Christ, 1506. Drawing by Dürer engraved by Egidius Sadeler in 1598. Signed in the plate "AD". Justified in the plate "Albertus Durer Almanus Fecit Anno MDVI / Egidius Sadeler Scalpsit Anno MDXCVII". Paper with cross watermark and IHS as pedestal. This so-called "Jesuit" mark corresponds to the mills belonging to the Abbey of La Couronne (Charente), which belonged to the Society of Jesus. Printed at the end of the 17th century. Bears a collector's stamp with the initials JF. Bowl: 357 x 236 mm Sheet: 385 x 285 cm
