Florence, workshop of Benedetto da Maiano (Fiesole, 1442- Florence, 1498), second half of the 15th century Total height: 83 cm, total width: 62 cm Remains of an old label on the reverse. Accidents and restorations Several stucco bas-reliefs of this composition by Florentine sculptor and architect Benedetto da Maiano are known, the finest being a copy in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv.WA 1888.CDEF.S22).
