Olympic Games/ winter, 1924/ Chamonix/ Ice Hockey/ Two large sepia photographic prints of Olympic field hockey. Size: 53 x 108 cm and 40 x 70 cm Good condition Olympic games on the world's largest ice rink, donated to Chamonix by the PLM. The photographer concentrated on the goals, but these laminated panels, which you'd expect to see decorating a club or restaurant, give a good idea of these first Winter Games. There's even a glimpse of a rooster jersey, but a rooster on the ice has never caused a stir, and this fairly successful eight-team tournament was dominated by Canada, the USA and Great Britain.
