Olympic Games/ Summer, 1936/ Hockey-sur-Gazon/ India/ 5th Olympic Tournament/ Wooden stick (with protectors) used by one of the Indian Olympic champions of these 1936 Games (91 cm, 5, then 3.5cm). With 10 printed player signatures on the handle, protected by film. Two photos are enclosed, one of the final, which saw this Indian team pulverize the Germans in the final by 8 to 1, and another of the winners posing with their sticks on their feet. The 4th-placed French team (narrowly beaten 4-3 by the Netherlands) included Grimonprez, Sortorius and the dreaded Tola Vologe.
