This fantastic, craggy mountain peak, surrounded by bright clouds, looks like a bizarre landscape from Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" The stranger-than-fiction photograph from NASA's Hubble Space Telescope captures the chaotic activity atop a three-light-year-high pillar of gas and dust being eaten away by the brilliant light of nearby bright stars.
