The NASA / ESA Hubble Space Telescope has revisited one of its most iconic and popular images: the Pillars of Creation in the Eagle Nebula. This image shows the pillars seen in infrared light, allowing it to pierce through dust and gas and reveal a more unfamiliar - but equally stunning - view of the pillars. In this ethereal view, the entire frame is dotted with bright stars, and baby stars are revealed to be forming within the pillars themselves.
