MISCELLANEOUS - The MAISONCELLE (Pas-de-Calais) Crime in 1933 - The facts: during the night of January 21-22, 1934, in Maisoncelle, Madame Cappe, 73, a pensioner, was killed by a rifle shot at point-blank range, while her husband, who was shot a second time, escaped with a slight wound and a burn on his shoulder. The gendarmerie's investigations failed to uncover the murderer; on February 13, the examining magistrate M. Martin d'Eydier proceeds with the reconstruction of the crime / Interesting and rare photographic report of this reconstruction: 8 vintage photos (black & white, approx. 15 x 19 cm) detail the various stages (stamped on the back "Photo Le Progrés") and a vintage photo (black & white, 18 x 24) shows Mr. Cappe and his lawyer Maître Leclercq conferring with the prosecutor Monsieur Droy and the investigating judge Monsieur Martin d'Eydier (the back of this photo bears a pencil caption and a pasted-on article).
