The Comtesse de GENLIS. Stéphanie Félicité du Crest (1746-1830), daughter of the Marquis de Saint-Aubin, married the Comte de Genlis Charles-Alexis Brûlart, Maréchal de camp, Marquis de Sillery, in November 1763. She became Comtesse de Genlis, Marquise de Sillery. She was a woman of letters. Her husband was guillotined on October 31, 1793. She was responsible for the education of the children of the Duc d'Orléans, known as Philippe Égalité, and in particular of the future and last King of France, Louis-Philippe - Letter A.S. written on March 9, 1813 to Monsieur Le Monthey. Letter of thanks concerning the publication of his book "Mademoiselle de LA FAYETTE".
