Comtesse EBLÉ, born Édeline Louise Fréteau de Pény (1789-1838), daughter of Emmanuel Fréteau de Pény (a victim of the French Revolution), seigneur of Vaux-le-Pénil and Saint-Liesne, grand chamber councillor at the Paris parliament, deputy to the Estates-General of 1789. She married General Eblé on April 5, 1809, who would go on to bridge the Berezina in 1812 - A.S. letter from Paris, July 24, 1814. Letter of thanks to the Colonel of Artillery for the return of the portrait of her late husband General Eblé, so dear to the people of Magdeburg.
