Madame de GENLIS (Félicité Comtesse de Genlis, née du Crest, 1746-1830, writer and educator) - Signed letter, 2 pages in-8°, Paris, May 29, 1828, addressed to Paris bookseller Jean-Jacques BLAISE, concerning their treaty and her commitment to give him three pieces of news: I want to remind Monsieur BLAISE in writing, to avoid any mistake, of the things we agreed on this morning. Monsieur BLAISE will return tomorrow, bringing me a bearer bill for eight hundred francs... He will also bring me our double Treaty on stamped paper of this little affair, in which I undertake to give him the three pieces of news. The first is 'L'Artiste', which I'll give him ready-made on the spot; the second is 'Les Déistes' and the third is 'La chapelle du Chêne', and I undertake to give him the other two within a fortnight; the whole forming an in-18 volume of two hundred pages..."
