Thierry de MARTEL (Maxéville 1876 - 1940) Neurosurgeon. Son of Gyp, the worldly novelist, he founded neurosurgery in France with Clovis Vincent. He committed suicide when the Germans reentered Paris. Letter A.S., 2 pages in-8°, on his letterhead, March 13, 1912. He thanks a friend for sending him his thesis, which he has read with great interest.
