Olympic Games/ Summer, 1960/ Rome. Official round participant medal, engraved by Greco, made by Bertoni of Milan. This medal is very classical, with its obverse showing an "artistic" gymnast juggling with torch and rings (signature here, bottom right), and its reverse, of an eagle flying over the stadium, with the official words "Giochi della XVII Olympiade, Rome, MCMVX" in the marli, but here we offer something extra, by offering you four different states of the cast bronze: a) copy with antique patina, bronze green; b) copy extinguished red; c) a superb oxidized example in its case (Beroni, 7 via Volta, Milano; d) bright copper-red...in presentation case.
