Béatrice de PORTUGAL, Duchesse de SAVOIE (1504-1538) Infanta of Portugal, was the daughter of King Manuel I of Portugal and Mary of Aragon. Her sister Isabelle married Emperor Charles V. She married Charles II of Savoy, Duke of Savoy and Prince of Piedmont, in 1521 - Signed in her name and titles, on parchment (27 x 41 cm) written from Carignan on December 6, 1521. Text in Latin. Constitution made by the most illustrious Lady Beatrice of Portugal, Duchess of Savoy, of the Châtellenie of CARIGNAN (Carignano Italian town, anc. Savoy) in favor of noble Louis de CHABO.
