I have done what I could to put a stop to them, as has the Intendant, but Sieur PILLON... is picking a new quarrel with his Curé by renewing the old ones. I have no doubt, Sir, that being on the spot, you will easily succeed in restoring peace between them, and putting an end to a division that has lasted too long...". - 2pp in-4°
